Simone is a London-based dancer, choreographer, and founder of The Playground at Rambert. Originally from Engesvang, Denmark, she trained at the Royal Danish. Ballet School before joining Peter Schaufuss Balletten at just 16.

In 2009, she moved to Germany to become a soloist with Ballet Ensemble of Theater Ulm, where she danced leading roles such as Cinderella, Tybalta in Romeo & Juliet, and the Sacrificial Dance in Le Sacre du Printemps.
Four years later,  Simone relocated to London to join Rambert, Britain's oldest dance company, where she continues to perform in an acclaimed and diverse repertoire.

​Throughout her career, Simone has worked with diverse and acclaimed choreographers from across the contemporary dance landscape, including Kim Brandstrup, 
Lucy Guerin, Shobana Jeyasingh, Mark Baldwin, Didy Veldman, 
Christopher Bruce, Ben Duke, Marion Motin,
Hofesh Shechter, Wayne McGregor, Barak Marshall, Imre & Marne Van Opstal, Jo Strømgren, Wim Vanekeybus, Benoit Swan Pouffer, Sharon Eyal, Johan Inger, Emma Evelyn and (LA) HORDE.

Simone has performed on some of the UK's biggest stages,
​for major events and live broadcasts, including the BAFTA Television Awards, The Greatest Dancer, West End Live, BBC Team GB Homecoming concert, the Commonwealth Games closing Ceremony and French Television show Quotidien. 


​Simone also performed alongside FKA twigs for Vogue World and has appeared as a model in Vogue, and continues to push boundaries in both performance and creative direction.

In 2020, she made history as the first Contemporary female dancer to receive the National Dance Award for Best Female Dancer.
Alongside performing, Simone is an established choreographer, and her choreographic projects span across genres: from contemporary to creating music videos for Imaginary War, Sam Lee and Radiohead's Philip Selway (Strange Dance, co-choreographed with Liam Francis). 

Her work has been presented at venues and festivals across the UK - including the Linbury Studio Theatre, The Place, The National Theatre's Riverstage, Wilderness Festival, Rambert, Baltic Art Form Festival, St Hilda's College (Oxford) and St. John's, Bethnal Green - as well as in Germany at Theater Ulm, Wilhelmsburg, Wiblingen Klosterhof, and at the Internationale Solo-Tanz-Theatre Festival, Stuttgart.

Since 2017, Simone has also. been the driving force behind The Playground, a free monthly 
platform she founded to connect and nurture artists from across the art forms through play, exchange, and collaboration. 

Most recently, Simone has been expanding into a bit of acting, with an exciting new project soon to be announced.
